Fort Lauderdale

Premiere Yachting at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026: Our Recap

We exhibited at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 28 October to 1 November 2026, with our own stand at Bahia Mar Yachting Center. It is the world’s largest in-water boat show. Over five days we met clients and partners there, and dozens of those conversations were about a crewed week in the Mediterranean in 2027.

Five days, one enormous marina

Bahia Mar during the show is a city of boats. You walk the docks and the water is lined from one basin to the next, day boats you can take in at a glance beside superyachts that take a morning to tour properly. The scale is the point of coming: hundreds of yachts in the water, not a hall of stands with photographs of yachts.

Our stand was easy to find once you knew the flags. A table, the Premiere Yachting flags, and enough shade to have a real conversation. People did not stop for a brochure. They stopped because they were already walking the marina and wanted someone who charters, rather than someone who only exhibits.

Five days is a long time on concrete and teak. The useful hours were the unscheduled ones: a returning client, a couple who had never stepped onto a crewed yacht, a partner between appointments. We walked when someone wanted to see a boat rather than talk about one.

What our visitors asked about

The questions were practical. Is a good yacht still free in July 2027? What does a week for a family actually come to, once the running costs are included? Which coast is kind to children, and which one is a mistake in August?

We answered the way we answer on the phone. High summer is already being held. Family charters came up constantly: cabins that close, a chef who will cook what the children eat, and a tender that can reach a beach. Budget questions were welcome. A number you can plan around is more useful than a yacht you cannot take in the month you want — the same honesty as our note on what a superyacht week actually costs.

Trends we spotted on the docks

Hybrid and lower-consumption yachts drew a crowd. People asked how a boat is run for a week, not only how she looks at the dock. Explorer yachts were the other magnet: more range, a more serious deck, and a week that does not have to end in a marina every night. And the Americans on those docks were not only shopping for a boat in Florida. A growing number of them were planning a Mediterranean charter, and they wanted it arranged by someone who would still answer the phone in June.

Archie was still smiling on the last afternoon. The show is tiring, and the smile was for the people who had stopped.

From Fort Lauderdale to the Mediterranean

The bridge is straightforward. A client who lives in the United States can spend a week looking at yachts in Fort Lauderdale and still want the charter itself in Greece, Croatia or on the French Riviera. We do that work from here. The boats they liked on the dock are a reference. The week they book is the Mediterranean season we are already placing.

If the dates are even roughly known, the timing matters more than the show. Read when to book a 2027 Mediterranean charter, or begin with a short quote if you would rather not wait on a call. We left Bahia Mar with follow-ups. The fleet is there when you want to look.

Plan your 2027 charter with us

Tell us the month, how many of you are coming, and whether you want towns, beaches or a quiet anchorage. We will answer with yachts that fit, and we will say when a week is already gone.

You do not need to have been at the show. Write to us and we will pick up the conversation from wherever you are. That was the offer on the stand at Bahia Mar, and it is the same offer now.

FAQ

When is the next Fort Lauderdale Boat Show?

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is customarily held at the end of October at Bahia Mar Yachting Center. The organisers have not published the 2027 dates yet. We will share them when they do.

Can I see yachts from the show with Premiere Yachting?

Yes. Yachts we walked at the show that are free to charter are on our fleet, and we can arrange a look at others that are not on the public list yet.

I missed you at the show — can we still talk 2027?

Yes. The stand is closed and the conversation is not. Write to us and we will pick up a 2027 Mediterranean week from the beginning.

How early should I book a Mediterranean yacht for summer 2027?

For July and August, the yachts we would actually recommend are often held by the end of the first quarter. June and September stay open longer. If your week is in high summer, start now.

Do I need to have visited the show to charter with you?

No. Most of our weeks are arranged by phone and email with clients who never walked the docks. The show is where some of those conversations start. It is not a requirement.

Monaco Yacht Show

Premiere Yachting at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026: Our Recap

We spent 23–26 September 2026 at Port Hercules, Monaco, meeting clients and partners at the Premiere Yachting stand during the Monaco Yacht Show 2026. Across four days we walked yachts with owners and central agents, sat down with families planning next summer, and left with a full set of Mediterranean yacht charter briefs to follow up — several of them already moving toward a 2027 contract.

Four days, one marina full of superyachts

Port Hercules during the show is a working harbour, not a convention hall. We kept the stand open from the morning appointments through the last light, and we spent as much time on deck as we did at the table.

The blue carpet between the yachts was the real meeting room. Old clients came back to plan a week they already know they want. New faces stayed because the conversation was specific, and captains and fellow brokers compared notes on crews and which boats still charter well once the show lighting is off. We did not board every yacht. We chose the ones that match how our clients travel: families, a proper dining salon, and a quiet foredeck.

What our clients asked about

Most of the questions were not about a press release. They were about a week that has to work — who is coming, which coast, and whether the good July boats are already gone.

Parents asked for cabins that close, a crew that is easy with children, and a chef who cooks the way the family eats at home. Couples asked about shorter hops and a tender that can actually reach a beach. A few returning clients wanted the same captain as last summer. We wrote it down in their words, and the follow-up will be those notes, not a brochure. That is the same standard we describe when we explain why we work the way we do: one broker, yachts we have walked, and a written quote you can compare.

New yachts and trends we spotted

The boats worth remembering this year were the ones that charter cleanly — honest guest numbers, a beach club that is part of the living space, and crews who have already done a full Mediterranean season.

There was no shortage of new-build gloss. What we marked were the yachts a family of eight or ten can live on for seven nights without negotiating the layout every morning. Stabilisation at anchor came up constantly, and so did toy garages that do not steal a cabin. A few very large yachts were spectacular and wrong for the weeks people described. We would rather say that on the pontoon than discover it in July. The ones that fit are joining the crewed charter fleet, next to yachts we already know from the French Riviera, the Greek Islands and Croatia.

What’s next: the 2027 Mediterranean season

The useful result of the show is the 2027 season, not a stack of catalogues. Several weeks we discussed in Monaco are being held now, and the rest are in follow-up this month.

High summer still goes first: July and August on the French Riviera, then late July in Greece, then Croatia for families who would rather swim in a cove than dock under a nightclub. Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast came up for clients who want a shorter coastline and long lunches. If your week is in peak season, start now. June and September are often the better sea, and a crewed superyacht charter then is usually the week we would book for ourselves.

Plan your 2027 charter with us

Tell us the month, the number of guests and the feeling you want from the coast. We will come back with a short list, not the entire marina.

You can begin with the destinations we charter, look through the fleet, or write to us directly. Nobody needs sailing experience. Every week we arrange is a crewed superyacht charter — captain, chef and stewards — and the only brief that matters is yours. That was the conversation on the stand at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, and we carried it on to Florida — see how it went at Fort Lauderdale.

FAQ

When is the next Monaco Yacht Show?

The next Monaco Yacht Show is scheduled for 22–25 September 2027, again at Port Hercules in Monaco.

Can I see yachts from the show with Premiere Yachting?

Yes. Many of the yachts we walked in Monaco are available to charter through our fleet, and we can arrange time aboard others that are not on the public list yet.

How early should I book a 2027 Mediterranean yacht charter?

For July and August, the yachts our clients want are often held six to twelve months ahead. If your week is in high summer, start now. June and September usually stay open longer, and they are often the better weeks at sea.

Do I need sailing experience for a crewed superyacht charter?

No. Every charter we arrange includes a captain, chef and crew. You tell us how you like to spend the days; the crew handles the yacht.

Which coasts were people planning from the Monaco stand?

Most conversations began with the French Riviera, then the Greek Islands, Croatia, Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast. We charter all of them, and we will tell you honestly which coast fits your week.
